Reiki

Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) means Universal life energy in Japanese. Reiki is a form of vibrational therapy developed in Japan in the early twentieth century and is considered the most gentle and practical healing therapy in the world. It is the least intrusive and most relaxing of the complementary healing practices and involves the light laying on of hands. The practitioner provides the channel for the life force energy.
As this subtle energy flows into a client’s body it assists in opening and balancing the body’s energy centers (chakras). When the chakras are operating in balance, the body’s natural ability to self-heal is restored. Reiki restores the flow of energy in the body so that our immune system can function at an optimal level enhancing and accelerating healing.
A treatment last 30 or 60 minutes, with the client lying down on a massage table fully clothed.
